WoW Addiction Intro
When does a casual WOW player become addicted?
A causal player tips towards addiction when the feeling of control that the player attains in their game environment and relationships starts to surpass the amount of control that they have in real life. At this point, WOW players begin to lose control of their WOW habit much the same way an alcohol drinker loses control of his drinking habit. He or she begins to lose control of how much time they spend playing and even the times the choose to play.
Here's a short assessment will help you determine if you might have a problem with WoW Addiction.
Let’s begin the assessment. Answer the following yes and no questions:
* Have you ever felt you should cut down on your WoW playing?
* Have people annoyed you by criticizing your WoW playing?
* Have you ever felt bad or guilty about your WoW playing?
* Have you ever played WoW first thing in the morning (as an “eye opener”) to steady your nerves or get rid of a hangover?
Count up your yes answers. A WoW Addiction Test Score (WATS) greater than 2 may indicate that you have a WoW Addiction. If you have a score of 1 or 0, then you are less likely to be addicted WoW.
